Katie Wright School of Dance presents 'This is us' at Nottingham Playhouse
The students of the school performed their bi-annual show at Nottingham Playhouse July 8th and 9th to over 1000 audience members.
The students had such a wonderful time performing to their friends and family and made us all so so proud of them.
We performed at Birmingham's NEC
We were approached to dance at the World's largest health and fitness exhibition at Birmingham's NEC. We performed a 15 minute slot to the thousands of people attending and was such a great experience for the girls.
Dance World Cup 2021!
We are delighted to announce that four of our girls that were selected to represent Team England at the very prestigious event, Dance World Cup 2021, achieved second place with their Ballet Quartet. An amazing achievement for the girls and the school to be dancing amongst the world's best dancers.
KWSD students appear in Wilkos advert
Katie Wright school of dance are so proud to be involved in this amazing opportunity. We cast and choreographed for the Wilkos nationwide halloween advert. All children and adults performing in the advert were from KWSD and what a magnificent job they did. Very professional and fantastic experience for them all.
KWSD students appear in John Lewis and Debenhams in Nottingham over the festive period
Some of our students helped to raise money for local charity, Ducklings, whilst carol singing in Debenhams and were attracting crowds at John Lewis with their presence in their shop window.
Students perform at Disneyland Paris!
In August 2019 and 2022 we took 36 children and their families to Disneyland Paris. We had an amazing time, performed at the Videopolis theatre and appeared in the parade. Memories created we will never forget!
