Our school
Our National award winning school is based at Greasley Beauvale D H Lawrence School, Nottingham. After running classes from Kimberley Leisure Centre since 2011, we are delighted to have moved to such a prestigious venue in the area.
We offer dance classes to boys and girls from the age of 3. Pupils are trained in ISTD Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Acro, Lyrical, Singing and Progressing Ballet Techniques.
All students have the opportunity to take part in examinations, festivals, competitions, auditions and bi-annual shows at the Nottingham Playhouse.
We provide performance opportunities for our students and have most recently won 'Best performance opportunities' a national award given by Dance Business Awards. We have appeared at Birmingham's NEC, John Lewis, Debenhams, Disneyland Paris and London's 02. We are silver medalists representing Team England at the Dance World Cup and at All England Finals.

We prepare our students for auditions and have students who have successfully auditioned for dance colleges from the age of 16 years.
Our teachers are DBS checked and first aid trained and able to teach children of all ages with the appropriate qualifications.
Miss Katie
Katie began her dance journey at the age of 9 at the Central Stage School of Dance and Drama. From a young age, she gained valuable performance experience, taking part in professional pantomimes, dance festivals, All England Finals and even becoming a finalist at Miss Dance of Great Britain. She completed her ISTD examinations in all genres, up to Advanced 2.
It was during this time that Katie discovered her true passion – teaching. Assisting in classes ignited a love for inspiring and nurturing young dancers and she knew this was the path she wanted to pursue.
Katie went on to complete her ISTD teacher training, gaining her DDE teaching qualifications in Ballet, Modern and Tap, as well as her Level 6 Diploma in Dance Pedagogy and Licentiate Modern. She is also a proud RAD Registered Teacher, continually expanding her knowledge to give her students the very best training.
Her dedication to her students has led to incredible achievements – from becoming medalists at the Dance World Cup and All England Finals, to successfully auditioning for prestigious schools, colleges and programmes such as The Royal Ballet Associates, Elmhurst Ballet School, Italia Conti, Wilkes Academy, Performers College and Hammond, amongst many others. Many have also gone on to working professionally in the industry.
Katie’s goal has always been to inspire a love of dance, while giving every child the chance to shine, achieve and grow in confidence both inside and outside the studio.
